my first Degas was back in 1998 from Songbird. natrual finish explorer like this one. I sold it when I was on tour in Spain as I didn't use it. (I hadn't learned about the world of hand make pickups).
ever since I've gotten back into collecting El Degas guitars, I now have 10 of them. all hand picked and refurbished. this one is killer. the two different single coil pickups are to bring tears to your eyes. it's so light too. sound clips below. here are the pics of when I got it. So all in, this guitar has cost me $180. I"m still thinking of refinishing it. some crazy color / metallic. the mahog patch that fixed where the khaler was is a bit of an eye sore. perhaps I'll park a sticker there for now.

Photos don't seem to have been included.
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
