hi i have a el degas hofner violen bass and i would like to know more of about it i ve hade it for almost 15yrs

I split this into its own topic.

The bass is likely mid 70s - some photos might help. I know that I don't know a whole lot about mine either... no markings to indicate country of manufacture.

How does she play? I know mine is in need of some TLC on the electronics but I've yet to delve into it (or better yet, get a qualified tech to look into it)
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 :shock: (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

well shes still sounding great after 16yes of play and the only this wrong with mine is the controll plate is broken
