Hello there, i was a given a el degas acoustic guitar last year and wondered how old it is and how would i check that. Please someone get back to me as soon as possible. Thank-You.

The best anyone can do is give you an idea of the estimated era that it was made. There is no surviving records of serial numbering (and they abandoned their use) to help figure out manufacturing dates.
