Had this beauty shipped from Moncton NB last fall, got it from the niece of the original owner, sent her $200 and another $65 for shipping to Winnipeg....plays and sounds fantastic. The pics don't do it justice...they seem kind of washed out...

I have a GB-28 (also a super jumbo) in sunburst - a lot of high-end on that one, sound-wise. If I'd ever bother to play the intro to Pinball Wizard, I bet it would nail that tone.
Does yours have a lot of top-end as well? Seems to be a trait of the Super Jumbos.

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

Beautiful! And congrats on the successful long distance negotiated sale, I've never attempted that on Kijiji or CL.

Thanks, I love playing it....full sound and comparable to my buddies' gibson j2oo......I have another one on the way from Nova Scotia....just sent the cash to the owner who is going to send it by purilator....be here in 3 0r 4 days I hope....can't wait to get my hands on it....
