So...it's "amazing" and "rare" so by all means, change the knobs!? Duh.

Ever since I started this site, I've worried that sometimes the site could give sellers credence to claim they are some sort of holy grail... rare, highly collectible, and with a huge following. (Not saying this is the case here, but it's something I always am concerned about)

OK - these guitars are from a bye-gone era which may add a bit to their 'cache', but sometimes the claims seem way over the top. Caveat emptor.
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Hell Charles, everything these days is "rare". Ebay, Kiji, & CL are ripe with this adjective as well as "lawsuit".
I'm fed up seeing it and it has lost any meaning at this point.
