LP Model 850WR (CAN)

Post by Barry »

An absolutely gorgeous wine red LP with figured maple cap which shows through the trans finish!
Looks like the owner may have removed the pup covers, or this version came with ivory coloured bobbins.
Just beautiful, and at a good price: CAD$275!

Really GAS'ing for this one.

This one's a bit different - the logo & rounded headstock mean it's a later MIK version.

Looks like Dimarzio (or knockoff?) Super Distortions in both pup positions.
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

I defer to your expertise Charles, MIK then.
Still, it does look fantastic. And Dimarzios too? Gotta love it.
