Desperately Looking for a hardshell
I am looking desperately to find a hardshell case for my electric (see attached pic of my baby). I had one, but it fell apart years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Desperately Looking for a hardshell
I think this model will fit into just about any hardshell case that's made to fit a Les Paul. I'd suggest you take the guitar to your local music shop(s) and see if it will fit into any cases they have on offer, or check out your local classifieds.

Re: Desperately Looking for a hardshell
Thanks charles! I've been looking around and keep running into the same issue - the length. Every electric case I've tried so far is abiut 1.5 to 2 inches too short. I may have to aquire a bass case, or have one custom made.
Re: Desperately Looking for a hardshell
In that case, perhaps look at a case made for a Strat - it has a slightly longer scale than the Gibsons so perhaps that will be the extra couple of inches you need. Best of luck!

Yeah, that Gumby headstock is nuisance eh?
If you absolutely need a hard shell case it's likely going to be a "try it and see" proposition as you're finding out. Alternatively, I'd not dismiss a good quality padded gig bag, or maybe a TRIC style (hard foam)?
But if you're gigging a lot then maybe no.
