El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
The black trim is a sharper contrast, but I think you may have an irresistible urge to go Tick or Treating!!
I think you'll be happier living with the White. (Don't forget to change the TRC too.)
But If you'll be painting the headstock how are you handling the El Degas logo?
Did some work on this guitar. Got the string guides and installed them, that made a huge difference. Got the new saddle and changed it also heuge, quite pleased with my own set-up job, also adjusted action on some other strings to eliminate fret buzz. replaced the foreign tone pot and got a new set of knobs. This thing is good to go for now. There is still a problem with the neck at the twelfth fret but for now I can concentrate on the les paul copy. This is actually a nice little guitar for 75 bucks and a little bit of work.
I have the exact same one...except mine is (or was) all black... and I managed to buy it for a dozen beer...I've had it for a while and it's kind of a "project guitar" now...but I'm gonna be restoring it to its former glory shortly.
trying top replace the pickguard on mine...but can't really find anything that even looks close to fitting, both the fender pickguard and squire pickguards i've tried are too big, and I can't really think of what other types to try any suggestions?
When I had a tech/luthier work on one of my Tele copies he had to end up cutting a new custom pickguard.
