hi ummm i was recently given an el degas electric guitar, but i cant find any info on it.i would post pics but dont have my camera right now.Its made in korea has a sticker on neck that says ST3 and possibly TR(really faded).its red has a black pick guard and bolt on neck,3 pick ups. any info would be greatly appreciated and hopefully i can post some picks soon.

Any other info on it, visually? Is it a Strat copy with a pointy Kramer/Jackson-esque headstock? That's the most common from the later Korean models (it was the 80s... :? Superstrats and Kramers were all the rage :| ) That's most likely what you have - an 80's MIK model Strat copy.

If you can post a photo of the guitar and any labels/markings showing model info that would be most appreciated.
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 :shock: (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

ya i think thats it def pointy Kramer/Jackson-esque headstock and strat like body. ill try and get some pics up when i get my camera back.no other stickers or markings i can remember but ill check again.just found this pick my guitar looks exactly like this except mine has a black pick guard and a slightly pointyer head but otherwise looks basically identical.sorry for crappy quality pic not mine, ill post mine when i can.

If yours is like that Epi, then it is definitely an 80's MIK Strat copy.

I've heard of people liking theirs, the one I had was total crap :shock: . I hope yours is a keeper! :)
