El Degas electric
El Degas electric
hi ummm i was recently given an el degas electric guitar, but i cant find any info on it.i would post pics but dont have my camera right now.Its made in korea has a sticker on neck that says ST3 and possibly TR(really faded).its red has a black pick guard and bolt on neck,3 pick ups. any info would be greatly appreciated and hopefully i can post some picks soon.
Re: El Degas electric
Any other info on it, visually? Is it a Strat copy with a pointy Kramer/Jackson-esque headstock? That's the most common from the later Korean models (it was the 80s...
Superstrats and Kramers were all the rage
) That's most likely what you have - an 80's MIK model Strat copy.
If you can post a photo of the guitar and any labels/markings showing model info that would be most appreciated.

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

Re: El Degas electric
If yours is like that Epi, then it is definitely an 80's MIK Strat copy.
I've heard of people liking theirs, the one I had was total crap
. I hope yours is a keeper!
