We don't try to discourage GAS around here. That's why we like El Degas... helps to give you de GAS.

You might have to fight Barry for that Westone.. fair warning!
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

No worries Mike, I have a Concord II already!
This one's interesting though. This model normally has 3 knobs along with the 5 way selector switch (a la Strat), so 2 knobs is an unusual variation. However, it's been modified unfortunately. The original pups were really nice sounding single coils, not active EMG's. Looks like some extra switches were added too. Might be overpriced at $250 since it ain't original.
But if you like it go for it. You'll love the neck!

The best thing will be my Xaviere shows up soon and give me something to do rather than look at used gear!

I emailed him. The holes are from the a volume/tone pot that was removed to fit the battery in for the EMG's.

If he kept the original pups and parts it still might be worth looking at. I can't fathom why people do these things to nice guitars then expect everyone to believe that they've "upgraded" it!

He bought it that way and doesn't have the original pups. Oh well. Another day and No Xaviere showed up yet. I guess I'll look through Kijiji again today and see lots more I can't buy.

Seriously thinking about putting some nice humbuckers back in it. The coil tappable EMG is nice but not knowing what the original Hagstrom pups sounded like has me thinking.

Yeah, I think the single coils and humbucker styled EMGs have some noticable differences. I'm not an expert on them by any means. I've had an 81/85 set sitting around to put into one of my EDs for almost a year.

the hagstrom has an 85 in the bridge and an 81TW (coil tappable) in the neck. Stock on the Hagstrom both pups were coil tapped.
