I have an El Degas MT4STE that I'd like to sell. I have no idea what the market value is. It's in very good condition. No scratches, but the finish is pretty good. Neck is pretty straight, no buzzes. I don't know its age. Includes a newish fibre case and new Martin strings.
I'm new to the site, and I'd appreciate some feedback.
Thanks
El Degas MT4STE
Re: El Degas MT4STE
The MT- models are copies of Martin acoustics.
MT- models seem to usually list on the internet anywhere from $100-500 depending on the condition of the instrument, country of manufacture, and the level of motivation of the seller for a quick sale. Many models sell for $150-250, but some may sell for more (particularly some of the more 'deluxe' 70's Japanese models with better fit & finish, which may sell for $200-500).
If you have a photos of the headstock & sound hole label I might be able to tell you the country of manufacture (or the sound hole label may have it listed).

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
