CL 42

Post by Wailindaveyslim »

I just picked up a filthy lookin CL 42 classic guitar in pretty good shape. The machine heads needed replacing and I had to sand down the saddle a bit and put on a set of d'addario FN strings. It plays great. It joins two other El Degas guitars in my collection a C 80 and an MT16. This guitar sounds a lot better than the C 80.

I'd love to see some photos once you get it all tidied up. Congrats on the new old guitar!
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

I recommend using Photobucket to host your photos.
Once uploaded, Photobucket supplies IMG tags to post on the forum.

Tips: http://www.eldegas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=45

If you run into trouble, send me a link to your Photobucket album via email and I can add the IMG links to this thread.

Once you've uploaded your photos, just send or post a link to your photobucket album and I will add in your photo links and clean up the thread a bit :)

I don't know if this is what you mean.
I know how to send photos from my e mail to another email address, but not much more.

The link you posted just goes to the login page. You have to open your own account and upload your pictures there first.
Then,
In PhotoBucket mouse over your picture and a little gear icon will appear in the top right corner.
Mouse over it then click on the Share Links icon (looks like a gear).
Click on either the IMG or Thumbnail code.
The code is automatically copied to your clipboard.
Paste that code into your post here.
Done
