Hi,

I have a lucite El Degas strat that I would like to replace the pickguard on. I tried swapping it with one from a standard El Degas strat but the holes did not line up. Anyone ever had this problem or had a pickguard custom made?

You might have the best luck going to your local guitar tech and asking them to cut you a new pickguard out of a sheet of the material of your choice, so that your existing pickguard will act as a template for the the shape and holes of the new one.

I've had this work done before.

Kevin Martel, Pro Shop tech @ the Arts Music store in Newmarket is a good option. He did mine, looks great.
