You will likely need to tweak the action when you get it to reduce buzz, I have it set pretty low and it's been very dry this year
Tuners are a bit stiff

Hi, Charles. I couldn't tell from the photo what the back and sides are made of? Maple, by any chance, or is it mahogany?

Appears to be mahogany.

Yes it is. In my last house (moved in Dec 2010) this was the guitar I kept by my desk in my office for whenever the urge struck me to play or noodle on something floating around in my head.
