Please, please, PLEASE, no one pay that kind of money for an El Degas...
I had a fellow email me about this one and I almost fell out of my chair when he told me what was being asked.

What I tell everyone who asks: 70's El Degas MIJ bolt on Les Paul copies go for somewhere around $150-250 CAD depending on condition. Hell, actual 70s Gibbys don't even go for near this kind of money.

Well, I bit the bullet and contacted the seller with what the instrument is worth, in my opinion. I doubt the jump from 10K to $150-250 is what he has in mind, but c'est la vie.

I think I've seen this ad come up once or twice in the past. It seems to surface, get some negative replies, then disappear... only to surface again about 6 months later.

It's now a grand.

agreed! something in the water he drank for sure, or, is looking for that "right person"...~*cough sucker*~... there is a lot out there to see and find, there is no reason to pay such a price for any guitar. To each their own I suppose. i want a Rickenbacker more than I want the skin on my nose... but still will not part my money for the asking prices on them!
