Fairly rare model with a couple of minor issues. Nothing that can't be made right.

I'd just look to see what the finish crack is like on the back of the neck, whether it is superficial or structural. Other than that, I think he's now got it priced just about right.
Which one of you Ontario ED fanatics is going to bite?!

I'm tempted!
I recently restored a 1966 Gibson Trini Lopez for a customer at the guitar store where I work part time. (Trini's are essentially 335's with a Firebird neck

)
This was unusual enough being a Pelam blue finish, but it was made even rarer by the addition of a factory installed Varitone circuit, which made it a 345! At first I wasn't too thrilled at the prospect, but after I was done it sounded pretty good!
Hey if all else fails, take out the varitone circuit and replace it with a 335 wiring harness. Et vôilà! Instant 335 clone.

The Varitone is neat but yes, it's definitely tempting to turn them into a 335 and have the traditional 3-way switch!
I miss my old 345 copy, she sounded like honky-tonk heaven.
