Thanks guys. The original finish was all, black, even the neck and headstock and was rough by the pictures I saw.
Regardless of who made it and what it was /is, it seems to play nice. Of course what do I know about basses? :D

Sorry for the late replies gents. I am sold out of decals. Frenchy cornered the market and bought the last 3 I had.

The vector file Charles has can be used by any decal shop to make them, only most will not do small orders. I think I paid $38 for 10 decals.

They have posted new photos, I'd say late '90's cell phone quality. It doesnt look nearly as nice as yours and it only has the one coil tap switch and I think the truss rod cover says Thunder 1 - not 1 A. Did you get a reply to your email? I saw a Hagstrom picture I had on the net used in an ad once ...
