I'll let the whole bass go for $225 + shipping. I can lower the shipping cost by removing the neck from the body as well, since you're interested primarily in the neck.

My Stable of El Degas guitars & basses (56K Beware)

I should take my own photography tips from the sticky, I know... But here are some shots for people looking for El Degas models. By the way, I started about the same way as you - drummer for several years, tried bass, then picked up guitar. For a guy who figured he'd never go the guitar route, it sure didn't turn out that way (though drums & bass are really my strongest instruments) http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k21/white...

She's a beauty! Looks like yours is one of the MIJ (Made in Japan) models with Dimarzio pickups and (I believe) a phase in/out mini-toggle switch. My understanding is that this was a stock configuration offered in some of their guitars. And that Gold-top.... oh my, yes. :D Just get some gold bell kn...

I can take a photo of the fret for you, let me know. I have some spare ferrules - those are really hard to find, huh? Closest I could find were Tele import-style ferrules, but they are still slightly different diameter. I'm really hoping to sell the whole bass at once but I suppose I can look at par...

Re: Grabber bass

Hi Charles, Would you part out the grabber bass? I have my own and could use the neck and the little string guides through the body. Arthur / Gaskett33 The neck has one damaged fret from the previous owner. A luthier may be able to reshape & crown it, but I am not sure. How many string ferrules do ...

Can you post a photo of the sound hole label? I'm not sure on the pedigree of the acoustic El Degas guitars - there were Japan, Korea, and even Romanian made El Degas acoustics. For what it's worth, my Made-in-Korea El Degas Dove-copy also uses the "modelo" and "serie no" verbiage on the label - see...
