I have in my possession what seems to be a sunburst El Degas copy of a Gibson Hummingbird. The model number on the inside is F176, dated May 1974. I can't, however, find any information regarding estimated value- I'm loaning it to a school theatrical production and have to list it. I was wondering if anyone here could help me out?

The value on these is pretty subjective but my personal feeling is between $250-500, depending on condition. Hope this helps.

That's the exact range I guessed- there's some minor scuffing on the back of the body, the finishing around the edges has rubbed away in places and the bridge has a very slight warp. Other than that though it's in perfect condition.

I should expect you'd be fine to put it around 300-400. The bridge warping would be the biggest value detractor, in my opinion.

Thanks! I just measured- the warp from first fret to the base of the neck is about 1/16". So if I put down $350 that should be good?

I should think that's a reasonable value to put on for the theatrical production's requirements.
