El Degas GB-29
El Degas GB-29
I bought a GB-29 El Degas a few years ago that is a fairly good copy of a Gibson SJ-200. I'm not getting much info of the net but wondering about the year that could have been made also the value.
Re: El Degas GB-29
The date of manufacture is likely in the 1970s (The Gibson J- copies seem to be consistent with the 70's Japanese models, from what I've seen)
Your price range may vary wildly - I've seen this model listed anywhere from approx. $250-600 depending on the condition of the instrument. Depending on the condition of the guitar and the level of motivation of potential buyers, your selling price could be anything around those numbers.

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Glad to help. Now... let's see some photos!
The J- copy is a real looker.
