Under the tree this year, I got a El Degas Les Paul! My girlfriend found it for me at a yard sale in November, and hid it from me until Christmas. What a nice gift! Here I am, actively searching for a new ED to add to my collection for over a year, and she finds one without trying! Beginners luck, I suppose.

It is quite nice, plays like butter, and is in great shape for it's age. It is a MIJ, with the rounded neck end, and made in the mid-seventies - or so I suspect. However, it is not a standard LP size; it is slightly smaller and slightly slimmer then my Les Paul Standard. Not sure if it is "Studio" spec, but I think it is. Came with a 'uniquely' coloured hard shell case I think is original. My girlfriend didn't get much info on it when she picked it up, but she figures it was the sellers late husband's guitar, stored for a number of years.

I just love that natural finish on the fretboard and the body. Sharp looking instrument.
Hope everyone is having a nice holiday!
edit: didn't realise that the pictures aren't the greatest - my apologies!
