I want to thank Charles for getting me the file of the El Degas logo so I could have it made into a decal to replace the one on my LP that I scratched of 2? years ago.
That being said I got the logo printed off in a very thin vinyl decal and I think it looks great.
The only graphics shop that would do a small order had a $30 minimun so I had to get 10 made. I'm keeping 4.
If anyone is interested in a logo I can mail one off to you for $3 postage included. Just send me a mailing address I can give you a paypal email address and I send it right away.
They are a dry decal - peel off the backing, press on and rub the back with something smooth and remove the paper.

I'm not sure if this should be in the Buy/Sell section or not Charles , move it if you think it should be.

Buy & Sell might work better for you as far as visibility - hard to say.
I don't have a problem with it here or there, just let me know if you want it moved.

I'm not too worried about selling them as far as visibilty goes. It was such a pain in the @ss getting someone to do them I figured I would make some available and try to cover some of my costs and save other a headache. You have a PM..

Good on ya for finding a source, and for offering decals to the members here. I don't need one but there are a few posters who have lamented the fact that their logo is missing. Maybe they'll now be inspired to restore their babies too!

I have a possible alternate supplier who produces water slide transfers, but they're in England so not as easy to deal with! He's via another guitar forum where they have the same problem with Japanese guitars about the same era as the ED's.

I was just wondering about protecting the decal. I think it might be wise to cover it with a clear lacquer spray or something similar that is compatible with the vinyl to guard against scratching and potential buffing/cleaning damage. (And of course the surface has to be meticulously clean before applying the decal ).

Now the guitar looks complete! Well done!

Sorry for the late replies gents. I am sold out of decals. Frenchy cornered the market and bought the last 3 I had.

The vector file Charles has can be used by any decal shop to make them, only most will not do small orders. I think I paid $38 for 10 decals.

If anyone needs the vector file, let me know.
