Oooh, I love goldtops

I have always been sad that they never did the gold top in a set neck (as far as I have found, anyway) and I have so many of the set necks that I cannot justify another LP!

THANK YOU for all the photo posts. I guess I should really get my butt in gear and do a full run of new photos of my El Degas stable...
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Beautiful Pierre, congratulations! Gotta love a gold top!

Hmmm... humbucker sized P90s are out there... I am a fan of the GFS Mean 90s and Dream 90s and they are cheap as chips!

Second that Charles! I put GFS Mean 90's in my MIK Aria Pro II TA60.
The original 'buckers were OK but the 90's just makes it special and it sounds fantastic.

Just to let you guy`s know, the Japanese expert all said that this El Degas LP Goldtop is Fugigen made. Basically an Ibanez.

I believe that's correct.
Somewhere on this board I have a post referencing an ED LP on a Japanese site that said the same thing.
Can't go wrong with Fuji Gen!

I think that has been the general consensus. I never make promises to people about the manufacturer of their instruments when they ask, however.
