Still, nuthin' wrong wif bolt on's...20 of my 23 guitars are that construction, and over half are Japanese. They all ROCK so don't dismiss it on that account!

Understandable. I find it hard to be as excited about the bolt-ons for instruments copying set necks.
Over the last couple of years I have liquidated nearly all of my bolt-ons on the copies that normally would have set/through necks, after finding copies with the "proper" construction.... it's purely an aesthetic and "feel" thing.
