ED Strat 'project' (CAN)

Post by Barry »

<strike---->Here's something unusual for collectors of odd ball guitars. I think we've seen a couple of these here before. Made of Lucite, if I remeber correctly.
Damn heavy too!<----strike>
edit: Ooopsie. Wrong see below

Cheap tho': CAD$100

Re: ED 'Strat' transparent! (CAN)

Post by charles »

Ew, I don't think that's a transparent lucite guitar - appears to be a poorly sanded-off white guitar, to me.
That would explain the price, which I still think is too high for those cheap MIK MDF-board strats.

edit: took a closer look at the enlarged photo - yes, that's definitely a poorly attempted sanding job. My advice - leave it be, wouldn't even make good firewood. :|
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
