Hey there,

I'd have to see some photos of the guitar before I could comment - I have not come across that model number before.

The serial number has no meaning - they were seldom used and there is no info to back-check it against. It does, however, hint that the guitar might be from the 'early years' of the brand because serial numbers seem to have been abandoned altogether in the later years.

Hello bandjo8 and welcome.
I don't recognize that model number either (not that it matters that much!).
Please post some pix so we can have a look. Maybe we'll get lucky and be able to help!

Well folks its been awhile since i have visited this site .poor judgement on my part. I did not realize ed made so many guitars and for so long. I now see on my info sticker inside the guitar that this guitar was made by J&B guitar folks so if that has any bearing, maybe someone could give me some answers on it originality. I do not know how to download or upload pics but will give it a try within the next few weeks. I think it is a martin copy not sure.

If you get an account on www.photobucket.com you can upload pics and it will give you code to just cut & paste into the thread to have them show up.
