I recorded 4 songs with my band Bishops Green and used the ElDegas for most of the tracks. I used an Agile Goldtop with my modified p90s for some rhythm tracks too. I am more than happy with the sound that I squeezed out of it! The pickups were the secret ingredient. I have a whack of good guitars I could have used but the ElDee was the silver bullet. The PAF type pickups have a very distinct sound when compare dto the overwound modern pickups. The tone I got was pretty close to James Williamson's guitar tracks on RAW POWER by the Stooges which is my all time favourite sound for rock guitar. Listen to Raw Power and you'll catch the drift. Everyone else in the studio was impressed with how well it sounded for my 50 dollar guitar tone as I call it. ElDees are the shit!
