Telecaster Custom (CAN)

Post by Barry »

Black finish with maple fretboard. Pictures are a bit dark but it looks good. Owner pegs the year at 1974.
No idea of the value of these but it should sound good.
Asking CAD$300

Hey Barry,

I picked this one up a couple of weeks ago - seller never bothered to delete the ad I guess. Nice axe. Once I get around to polishing it up I will eventually take a few pics and post em. Stay tuned...

I want to see some close-ups :D
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Lovely. I have that same model, mine was an absolute wreck when I got it but she's a pretty fun rocker now.

Enjoy that Tele! :D

I believe the count right now (including guitar, bass, acoustic) is 25. It was 33 about a year ago before thinning the herd a bit. It's about time I posted a new complete list with photos, but I have to build a new music room in my new house first. Sadly, the bulk of my stable is inaccessible in their cases at the moment, stored in my spare room until I get my music room framed, insulated, and drywalled. :(

Cool. I have a few myself but I find I don't play most of them. I think I sort of outgrew some of them and now really only enjoy playing a handful of them. Once the economy gets a bit better I'll probably try to thin the herd a little myself. Good luck on the new music room. It sounds like a worthwhile and noble goal.
