Hello Everyone,
This is my El Degas Les Paul that I aquired in a trade. It has Ibanez pickups and plays excellent. Has the lowest action of any guitar I have ever played.
Unfortunately someone painted the black circles on it . I have since taken the circles off but whatever paint they used has bled down into the original finish and yellowed it more that the rest of the body. I thought about refinishing the top but I think I will just leave it and play the guitar.
I traded a Telecaster built with all GFS parts for it and couldn't be happier with the trade.
Also Charles, if you are who I think I believe you have my former El Degas SG in your collection.
A moment of mental weakness on my part for selling it LOL
The guitar universe demands you now grow a biker beard and play a lot of pinch harmonics on that axe.
Chances are I may be the Charles you think I am, if that Charles bought an El Degas from you. I wonder whether I still have your SG in my possession... I did sell a couple of them about 1-2 yrs ago and have only the white '61 copy left. (I really need to get around to an updated round of photos of my El Degas stable when I get the new music room built)
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
