bass

Post by Sixstring Samurai »

So I found what could be an El Degas bass. Its a tele bass copy, just like the one in this video, but it still has the chrome pickup cover, and the bridge cover.

It also has flatwound strings which make it sound super fat and bassy.

I have one of those - I think it's the lightest instrument I own, and it's a heck of a lot of fun to play.

Post some photos of yours!
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

Dude says:
I own a very similar bass, actually it's the same thing but branded Aria

Hello! Who made Aria's electric guitars? Matsumoku!

Ya I will try and get some pictures up sometime. My camera isint working at the moment.

Wow the bass sure is fun to play being short scale, chords and stuff, I'm more of a guitar hack. The mahogany neck feels great.
