Charles, did I read here somewhere that these might have come with DiMarzio Super Distortions?! :shock:
Total over kill if so. I'd use them in something else and drop in some less aggressive PAF style 'buckers, or even my favourites, P90's!

I wouldn't mind getting it but "no dough", and the Tax Man cometh... :cry:

This one looks to just have PAF-style humbuckers. Totally suited to this style of guitar. I have however seen Super Distortions on some ES copies in my time and they are, indeed, way over-kill.

I agree that humbucker-sized P90's would be great in this style of guitar!
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 :shock: (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)

I would LOVE to get my hands on any El Degas ES style guitar. A sunburst in tobacco or cherry would really excite me. Anything available in the Guelph-Kitchener region. Putting a WANTED ad up on Kijiji very shortly.
