Last March I was desperately looking for an LP neck. Couldn't find any in Canada, and I located only 2 sources in the States, both of which had very little selection. Lots of Fender's of all kinds though; even Warmoth.com only had "blank" LP necks.
I revisited their site out of curiosity and they appear to have redesigned it, and have added a (to me) whole new section on LP necks! You an even design your own online: http://www.warmoth.com/Guitar/necks/lp_ ... nneck.aspx
That's the good news.
The not so good news is that they're pricey!
The cheapest is just under $200 and pretty basic. Be prepared to double that for a decent looking one, or you can go crazy and spend $875 for a flame koa version. Not exactly cost effective if you're trying to revive an old El Degas LP but at least you can get one now!
And oh yeah, that's US dollars!
Your only other hope is to find a damaged or inexpensive El Degas to grab the neck off of.
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
Yeah, it's rare... but sometimes you find a guitar that someone was given way back when, they scratched up and put stickers on, then back it went into the case for 20 years.
I'll keep PMing you with any bolt on LPs I find out in cyberspace.
