I really dig the color of your guitar!
Thanks for sharing
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
It's always sort of strange to think of a guitar sitting in a case for 30 years... something that is built to be played just sitting there, waiting.
I know some of my guitars don't get much attention for the span of many months, but 30 years!
Enjoy it!

Any idea what the AS refers to...all solid?
I'm not sure, actually. Sometimes I've seen suffixes on model numbers that indicate the finish/color of the instrument but for the life of me I cannot figure it out in this case.

I agree Charles, the suffix normally would refer to the finish, at least on most Japanese guitars that I'm familiar with.
I can't remember what this guitar looks like now but AS might refer to Antique Sunburst?? Something like that.
