Lefty ED's?
Lefty ED's?
Any of you know how many Lefty El Degas were around in the day?..I remember seeing some when I was young, and would LOVE to come across one now...but I was wondering if they were more plentiful Lefty El degas that other guitar companies back then ...
Re: Lefty ED's?
Ooooo, I doubt you'll find many of those.
Lefties are hard to come by with guitars still being made today, so I doubt there are a lot changing hands in this old defunct brand.
If I do come across any I will certainly make a post about them on this forum to let people know, since I'll have no interest in snatching it up myself

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

Re: Lefty ED's?
LOL.....sure thing...lol..
I'm a southpaw so I've been flipping guitars around since day one. I can play a normal lefty, re-string a righty, or just flip a righty upside down and play that way too...lol...I learned all my chords growing up up-side down.high E on top...it was a pain, but I flipped out all my freinds keeping up to them playing backwards..lol..soloing was even better...lol..
Too bad, a lefty El Degas would be sweet!
Hey, here's another question...Did El Degas make any resonators or lap steels by any chance? what about Ukes....?..I'd love an old ED Ukelele!

Re: Lefty ED's?
Are you Dick Dale?
He plays his gits lefty upside down, and is one of the greats.
I haven't seen any ukeleles, but there are mandolins and banjos to be had - I think I've seen some for sale lately if you want me to post some links...
