New P-bass

Well, new to me as of Friday

The seller bought it new in 1978. A few pock marks here and there but generally decent condition for a 30+ year old bass. The tuners were upgraded to Schallers (originals are included) otherwise all stock as far as I know. All kinds of tone and it plays really nice, Ive had lots of fun this weekend. The price was good ($200Cdn) but I'll probably sell one of my Yamaha basses to offset the cost.

Congrats!

I think I might have been eyeing that one as well. I have one exactly like it (same specs and red color), which I converted it to a fretless. If I didn't also have a black one I would have bought it so I had a matching pair in fretted & fretless. :D

Enjoy it :)
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
