When I was a teenager in the 80's in Mississauga, Ontario, I remember El Degas guitars being one of the few brands available to buy new. Being a "copy" guitar, there wasn't much prestige to owning an El Degas. Now, a few years later, I can't go to a garage sale or a pawn shop without doing a quick scan for an El Degas; funny how things change.

El Degas Precision Bass
In my younger days I owned an identical bass that was part of the "regular" series and had smaller tuning keys and a decal that said "El Degas Electric Bass". This one, being part of the "deluxe" series has the larger tuning keys and the super-cool inlaid "El Degas" abalone(?) logo. I'm more of a guitar player but I think every guitar player needs at least one bass. I have a local pawn shop to thank for this one.

Some of the best bass players I've ever met were guitar players
...although they tended to over-play
Can you please check your image links? I jumped into your post to see if I could fix them but didn't have any luck.
You have the fileserver entries linked and not the regular image URLs. I'm dying to see that bass!

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42

I swear the preview worked before I posted. Is it any better now?

I see them now. Looks spectacular.
