Greetings,
There are very small logos/symbols on the backs of the machine heads on my MIJ ED Paul Custom.
I cannot photograph the imprints as they are too small. I will have to dig out a macro lens in order to do so.
Is anyone familiar with the imprints I am refering to? Is it an El Degas logo?

Re: ED Paul Custom Logo
I have not seen ED branded machine heads on an electric model.
I once saw an eBay auction for EB branded machine heads for a classical model, but I think the ED brand was on the printed packaging only. I don't think I've seen an ED logo on machine heads themselves (if memory serves me correctly).
If you can take a photo that would be great!

I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

Re: ED Logo
Is there an ED logo/symbol other than that of the name that is on the headstocks of instruments or on the labels that are located under the sound holes within said instruments, and if so does anyone have any photos of it that they could post?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: ED Paul Custom Logo
As far as I know there is only the El Degas word logo. It took a couple of forms over the years but was always the full "El Degas" wording.

That logo is not for El Degas. I've seen it before, but I have no idea what it is for. Gotoh maybe??

I just looked up Gotoh tuners, and it is my feeling that you are indeed correct. The Gotoh logo is the same. Thank you very much.

Yeah, I think you'll find that Gotoh supplied a lot of the hardware for many of the MIJ instrument manufacturers (Gakki's) of the 70's and 80's, primarily machine heads and bridges.
