Hello folks,
I'm a newbie to this forum... Here are a couple of photos of my El Degas MT 7, purchased in the early 80's (either for $175 or $275, I forget)... I am in the process of getting ready to sell it and would like some info on it as well as an estimated value (do these guitars appreciate in value over the years?).
Thanks.
(sorry for the pop-ups)
70's MT- models seem to usually sell on the internet for around $150-250, but list anywhere from $100-500 depending on the condition of the instrument, country of manufacture, and the level of motivation of the buyer. Your mileage may vary, this is just the trend I see. The MIK (Made in Korea) models tend to be a bit less in-demand than the MIJ (Made in Japan).
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
