Sound/Video Clips Anyone?

Post by Barry »

Hey y'all.
I was on *ahem* another guitar forum recently and it featured sound clips as a topic area. I found it interesting to hear as well as see and read about the guitar model in discussion.

 May be it could be a helpful feature to have in the El Degas site too if:
• There's interest in participating
• Charles agrees
Links to Youtube, or MP3's, .WAV's, etc could be done as for PhotoBucket pix links.

I realize it's not easy for everyone to create a clip but for those savvy enough it would be a good enhancement to help appreciate the El Degas quality. (Ya also get a chance to show off a bit too!)

Whatchathink?

EDIT MARCH 24
If a lack of recording software is holding you back then fret not, here's a terrific application that's free! I've used it for years with no problems both at home and in a corporate environment, and it's available for Windows, Mac and Linux. You can use a mic to record (preferred) or in a pinch it'll use the speakers in your laptop.

It records great with just the default settings or you can go nuts with editing, multi-tracking and EQ'ing. All kinds of sound effects are built in and there are lots more you can add. Enjoy!

Go fer it - you might just want to put it in the Showcase area though.

If I were a better guitarist I'd add them to my threads  when I expand the info on my stable of El Degas gits
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.

El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42  (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
