I have been meaning to Show off my El Degas for awhile but never got around to it. So as a part background story to this guitar. It belonged to my great uncle some 10 years ago, and when he passed it was given to my father and I in turn stole it because he was not using it. I've been playing with this guitar for 8 years, I have played other guitars, and I still just love the sound this guitar gives off. If anyone has some further infomation about this guitar it would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunatly, there is some superfical damage on the body because it was located next to a stone fireplace mantle and a crack at the base of the neck. But I play it often and treat it with the respect it deserves. Enjoy the pictures below.
What you have is a later MIK GIbson Hummingbird copy. She's a beauty, enjoy it!
I started ElDegas.com many years ago to help celebrate and inform about El Degas instruments. It all started with a used Ric 4000 bass copy I bought in circa 2000.
El Degas stable as of 03/2022: 42 (13 bass, 26 electric, 3 acoustic)
