MT7...My first El Degas

Post by thornbush »

This is the one that got me hooked. I was living in Moose Jaw 4 years ago and it was time for a new guitar...This one was on the local buy and sell so I went to see it. It was filthy and I'll bet the strings were ten years old but it was solid and I could hear something in there...so I gave the fella a hundred bucks and brought it home, cleaned it up, put new strings on it, adjusted the adjustable bridge and BOOOOM....what a sound. I couldn't get the shit eatin grin off my face for a week...it's still there sometime when I'm playing it....Not a single thing wrong with this guitar. When I go to the lake for the summer, this is the one that comes with me. These MT7s are plain Janes they're made to get the job done....

What I'm finding regarding the quality of the Korean as opposed to Japanese is that it's a toss up....they're all great quality guitars...

Running out of superlatives Lorne! Just lovely. Ya got me interested in this model now too!
Shame the original open style tuners were replaced, I prefer the look of them on this, but I'm sure the replacements work very well.
