Looking for info on a 12-string GB24

Post by adam »

Hi there. I have a GB24 12 string, sunburst/hummingbird. I think it's from the mid-70s. Looking for as much information as possible about it. I can post some photos if need be....thanks!

Photos will definitely help - a nice clear shot of the guitar and ones of headstock and sound hole label if possible.

Unfortunately, the S/N system was never really used so it is not a help in determining the date/country of manufacture. BUT since it does have a S/N (not many do) it may be an earlier MIJ (Made in Japan) model... photos will vertainly help me to determine further (or at least make an educated guess :) )

I'll try to get some photos posted; it's the guitar I learned on at 12 so the info is more for sentimental reasons. Too bad about the s/n system, or lack thereof.

That's a nice MIJ model you have there - my best guess is that it would be from somewhere in the early to mid 70's.
